On Wednesday 23rd November 2022, the Grand Hight Priest supported by a large number of active Grand Officers Installed R Em Kt Pt Stewart C L Middleton as Grand Superintendent and High Prelate for East Anglia, District No.7 at Wroxham Masonic Hall, Norfolk. Stewart succeeds R Em Kt Pt Colin Birkbeck, KCPO, who retired after 9 years in charge of the District. With a tremendous turnout of local Knight Priests the Temple was virtually full for the ceremony.
During the meeting the Grand High Priest awarded the Certificate of Merit to the District Recorder, Ian Macklin thus making him a R Em Kt Pt. This was a total surprise to Ian but all present enthusiastically applauded the honour given Ian’s hard work over many years for the District.
Over 70 enjoyed a first class Festive Board after the meeting.
