A busy Especial Assembly at Bournemouth

On Wednesday 22nd September 2021 the Grand High Priest assisted by a team of over 30 Grand Officers held the first Especial Assembly since the start of the pandemic. The meeting enabled the Grand High Priest to “catch up” with some outstanding matters. Firstly he formally installed R Ill Kt Pt Brian Wisbey, GCPO as Assistant Grand High Priest, who had the honour of the Deputy Grand Master of the Mark, and the Past Great Seneschal as his cushion bearers.

The Grand High Priest then conferred the honour and dignity of Knight Commander of the Priestly Orders on R Em Kt Pt Martin Levick, Grand Supt. Dist.52 and R Em Kt Pt Brian Parkes, Past Grand Supt. Dist.53 in recognition of their services to the Orders over many years.

Next the Grand High Priest formally installed R Em Kt Pt Malcolm Lloyd as Grand Superintendent for Hampshire and Isle of Wight, District No.6 and R Em Kt Pt David Willcock as Grand Superintendent for Dorset and Wiltshire, District No.53, both of whom has been appointed sometime earlier and were in post by Dispensation. The photograph shows the Grand High Priest with the two new Grand Superintendents who are also proudly wearing the Pillar Fund collarettes their Districts had earned and were presented to them at this meeting.

Before closing the Especial Assembly, the Grand High Priest surprised Ill Kt Pt Richard White, PGIIP the District Recorder for Dorset and Wiltshire by promoting him to PGVIP thus making him a Very Illustrious Knight Priest.

A very enjoyable lunch followed, and everyone present was delighted to be able to meet up with Knight Priests from around the country after such a long break.
