It is with a heavy heart I have to advise the sad passing on Tuesday 20 February of R Ill Kt Pt Anthony Charles Hayes, Past Grand Recorder and Holder of the Grand High Priest’s Award. Tony was admitted to the Order in 1986. He first held office in Grand College in 1998 as Grand Keeper of the Inner Porch. He was appointed Deputy Grand Recorder in 2001 and was promoted to Grand Recorder in 2008. He received The Grand High Priest’s Award in 2009 on his retirement. He will be sadly missed.
The Funeral Service will be at 1230hrs on Tuesday 13th March, 2018 at the St Barnabus Church, Main Street, Swanland, HU14 3QR.
The service will be followed by a private committal (family only) at the Haltemprice Crematorium.
