On 10 August, the Grand High Priest, M Ill Kt Pt Christopher Gavin Maiden, accompanied by R Em Kt Pt Glyn Raymond Goddard, Grand Director of Ceremonies, travelled to South Africa to install R Em Kt Kt Pieter Hendrik de Chatillon de Kock as Grand Superintendent of South Africa – Cape, District No 28.
R Em Kt Pt David Whitfield, Grand Superintendent of South Africa – Transvaal, District no 10 also travelled to the Investiture.
