On Monday 8th February 2010, the Most Illustrious Grand High Priest, Ernest Peter Donnison, attended a meeting of Unicorn Tabernacle No.107 in The Hague, Netherlands.
He was accompanied by The Grand Director of Ceremonies, R.Em.Kt.Pt. Christopher G. Maiden, P.G.VII.P., and R.Ill.Kt.Pt. Lt.Col. Reginald K. W. Cooley, P.G.Supt., K.G.C. (Hon Causa) G.C.A., and a Past Grand Recorder.
The Unicorn Tabernacle was formed on the 18th February 1984 and, due to other commitments, the Most Illustrious Grand High Priest had, unfortunately, been prevented from attending on the 25th anniversary of that occasion, but was delighted to be able to attend the Tabernacle at this meeting, which was still during its 25th year of existence.
It was also the occasion of the Installation meeting when Ill.Kt.Pt. Johan P. J. F. Koopman, P.G.V.P., who has been the Recorder of the Tabernacle for a number of years, was re-installed in the Chair as High Priest.
Following his Installation, the Most Illustrious Grand High Priest was pleased to promote Ill.Kt.Pt. Koopman to P.G.VI.P., and also to promote Ill.Kt.Pt. Abraham Goedhals, P.G.IV.P., a Past Grand Banner Bearer, also to P.G.VI.P., thus making them both Very Illustrious Knight Priests.
The Most Illustrious Grand High Priest had a wonderful time whilst in The Hague and is most grateful to the Knight Priests of the Netherlands for the way they received and looked after him during his all too brief stay.
