On Friday 11th December 2009, the Most Illustrious Grand High Priest, Ernest Peter Donnison, was absolutely delighted to attend the meeting of Premier Tabernacle No.1 at Mark Masons’ Hall, St. James’s, London, to be present when several distinguished Knight Priests became joining members.
Accompanying him were: R.Em.Kt.Pt. Michael A. Hadfield, Grand Treasurer; R.Em.Kt.Pt. Christopher G. Maiden, P.G.VII.P., Grand Director of Ceremonies; V.Ill.Kt.Pt. Eric D. Brown, Assistant Grand Recorder; R.Ill.Kt.Pt. Lt.Col. Reginald K. W. Cooley, G.H.P.A.; and Ill.Kt.Pt. Keith H. Turner, Grand Banner Bearer.
Also present were: M.Ill.Kt.Pt. James W. Turner, Past Grand High Priest, and R.Ill.Kt.Pt. P. Michael W. Knowles, G.H.P.A.

V.Ill.Kt.Pt. Robert Alistair Ingham Clark, P.G.VII.P., was elected an Honorary Member of the Tabernacle; and
The Reverend Dr. Michael Morgan, Past Grand Chaplain (Craft), Past Grand Superintendent (Royal Arch), Knight Grand Commander of the Temple (KT), and Past Grand Eusebius of the Order of the Red Cross of Constantine, was received and admitted a Knight Priest of the Order.
The Officers performed a wonderful ceremony of admission, led by the High Priest, V.Em.Kt.Pt. Douglas A. V. Johnson, P.H.W., Past Grand Steward, and most ably assisted by his proficient Conductor, V.Ill.Kt.Pt. Graham F. Redman, K.H.W., Grand VII Pillar.
The Grand High Priest was also most pleased to present a Certificate of Merit to V.Ill.Kt.Pt. Jack Lodewyk Charles Dribbell, K.H.W., P.G.VII.P., in recognition of his services to the Order, thus, making him a Right Eminent Knight Priest. The Certificate was read aloud by the Assistant Grand Recorder, V.Ill.Kt.Pt. Eric D. Brown, and received with acclammation by all present.
A festive board was subsequently enjoyed by all and, during his response to the toast to him, the Grand High Priest was pleased to announce the new publication and launch of the second edition of “The Priestly Order” by R.Ill.Kt.Pt. Reginald K. W. Cooley.
Everyone then adjourned to the bar where a relaxed evening was enjoyed by the Grand College Officers in the company of the members of the Tabernacle.
